The Jacksonville Jaguars placed rookie wide receiver, Allen Robinson, on the injured reserve list with a stress fracture in his right foot ending his season, as reported by John Oehser, a Senior writer for

Robinson, a second-round draft pick from Penn State University, was putting together a good rookie season campaign on a bad Jaguars team. The Jaguars have been struggling all year, mostly because of lack of NFL experience. The Jaguars are one of the youngest teams in the NFL and it has shown during the season.

The team has dealt with injuries to their wide receiver core all year. Robinson is just the latest blow to the offense. The Jaguars have seen Cecil Shorts lll, rookie Marqise Lee, and Allen Hurns miss time this year.

Robinson's numbers this year are 48 receptions for 548 yards and two touchdowns. The wide receiver had established good chemistry with rookie quarterback Blake Bortles as his go-to guy.

The 1-9 Jaguars will continue to struggle the rest of the season. The team must get through it and look towards next year's draft. The good news is that the team is young and one would think things can only get better in the future.
