According to CBC, there is still no word on whether or not he will be back in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the New Jersey Devils. However, according to Tom Gulitti, reporter for The Record, he tweeted that Scheifele is a game-time decision and that Scheifele said he "feels good." Gulitti also tweeted that Scheifele said it was his knee and not his foot.
Scheifele left Sunday's game against the Minnesota Wild during the second period with a lower-body injury after his leg got caught between a fallen Erik Haula's and fell knee first on the ice, according to Pro Hockey Talk.
Scheifele has seven points (two goals, five assists) so far this season.
