The Sacramento Kings fell to the Houston Rockets on Wednesday by the score of 102-89. The loss dropped the Kings to 9-6 on the season, fourth in the Pacific Division. DeMarcus Cousins lead the Kings with 29 points, 17 rebounds and six assists in the loss. The Kings were without two-fifths of their starting lineup, as Rudy Gay and Darren Collison have been battling injuries. They are considered questionable for tonight's game against the San Antonio Spurs.

Our own Eric Black reported on November 20 that Gay re-injured his Achilles tendon, which bothered him at times last season and in the early parts of this season. As for Collison, he's sat out the last two games with a quad injury.

Marc J. Spears, NBA writer for Yahoo! Sports, tweeted the following update on Gay and Collison.
Should Gay and Collison be unable to play, expect Ramon Sessions and Omri Casspi to see the bulk of the minutes at point guard and small forward.

Gay, in his ninth NBA season out of Connecticut, is averaging 21.1 points and 6.5 rebounds per game this season. Gay has played for the Grizzlies, Raptors and Kings and has career averages of 18.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.

Collison has played for the Hornets, Pacers, Mavericks, Clippers and Kings. He's averaging 15.9 points and seven assists per game this season and has career averages of 12.1 points and 4.9 assists in 388 games.
