Our own Eric Black reported on November 20 that Gay re-injured his Achilles tendon, which bothered him at times last season and in the early parts of this season. As for Collison, he's sat out the last two games with a quad injury.
Marc J. Spears, NBA writer for Yahoo! Sports, tweeted the following update on Gay and Collison.
Kings F Rudy Gay (Achilles Tendinitis ) and G Darren Collison (Quadriceps Contusion/Strain) are questionable for game at Spurs on Friday.Should Gay and Collison be unable to play, expect Ramon Sessions and Omri Casspi to see the bulk of the minutes at point guard and small forward.
