The New York Knicks defeated the Denver Nuggets on Sunday by the score of 109-93 to snap a seven-game losing streak. At 3-8, the Knicks sit in fourth in the Atlantic Division, five and a half games behind the Toronto Raptors. On the injury front, it appears that Jose Calderon and Andrea Bargnani could return soon, as both are expected to return to practice this week.

Our own Mallory Colon reported on November 3 that Bargnani, who was nursing a sore hamstring, would likely be out of action for at least another week.

Calderon, who hasn't played all season due to a calf injury, could return on Friday if all goes well later this week in practice.

Alan Hahn, New York Knicks studio analyst on MSG Network, tweeted the following on the status of Calderon and Bargnani.
Bargnani, in his ninth NBA season, averaged 13.3 points and 5.3 rebounds in 42 games for the Knicks last season. The veteran center has played for the Raptors and Knicks and has career averages of 15 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.

Calderon is in his 10th NBA season. He averaged 11.4 points and 4.7 assists last season with the Dallas Mavericks. Calderon has played for the Raptors, Pistons, Mavericks and Knicks and has career averages of 10.2 and 6.2 assists in 634 games.
