Lions Injury Update: Reggie Bush, Calvin Johnson

By on 11/04/2014 10:00:00 AM

The Detroit Lions are coming off a bye week that came at an opportune time for some of their biggest play makers. Wide receiver Calvin Johnson has missed the last three weeks while he continues to recover from a high ankle sprain and running back Reggie Bush has missed two of the last three games due to his ankle sprain. Good news came out of practice Monday though, as both were able to participate the Detroit Free Press reports.

The Lions have amassed a three game winning streak even while dealing with their offensive stars missing time. Although their offense has not performed at the level that was expected, their defense has played well and has allowed them to achieve the success they have thus far on the season.

Both Reggie Bush and Calvin Johnson are expected to be available when the Lions take on the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
