Magic Injury Update: Kyle O'Quinn is considered 'unlikely' for tonight's game against the Bucks

By on 11/14/2014 12:00:00 PM

The Orlando Magic head into tonight's game against the Milwaukee Bucks coming off a 97-95 win over the New York Knicks on Wednesday. At 3-6, the Magic are in last place in the Southeast Division. The Magic were lead by Evan Fournier, who scored 28 points on 8-of-14 shooting from the floor and 10-of-14 from the free throw line. The Magic continue to play without Kyle O'Quinn and it appears he will likely be out again tonight with a lingering ankle injury.

I reported on November 4 that O'Quinn, who had been hindered with a ankle sprain, missed the latest practice and was out for the next game.

Josh Robbins, who covers the Magic for the Orlando Sentinel, tweeted the following update on O'Quinn.
Channing Frye continues to see the bulk of the minutes at power forward in O'Quinn's absence. Frye is averaging 10.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game this season.

O'Quinn, in his third NBA season out of Norfolk State,  averaged 6.2 points and 5.3 rebounds in 69 games last season. In his only game this season, O'Quinn had four points and five assists in 21 minutes. In 127 career games, all with the Magic, O'Quinn has averages of 5.2 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.
