Nuggets Injury Update: Darrell Arthur played tonight with left knee bruise

The Denver Nuggets lost to the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday by the score of 120-112. The loss dropped the Nuggets a game under .500 at 7-8 on the season. Wilson Chandler lead a balanced attack with 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting in the losing effort. There was some good news that came from the loss, as Darrell Arthur played a day after he left a game with a left knee bruise.

According to the Fantasy Alarm Twitter account,
Arthur played through the injury and had six points, four rebounds and two steals in 17 minutes off the bench against the Suns.  He's played well off the bench this season backing up Kenneth Faried, averaging 7.1 points and 3.6 rebounds per game this season.

Arthur was drafted in the first round of the 2008 draft by New Orleans. The sixth-year power forward played in 76 games as a rookie for the Memphis Grizzlies in 2008-2009, averaging 5.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. Arthur enjoyed his best season in 2010-2011 when he averaged 9.1 points and 4.3 rebounds in 20.1 minutes per game.
