Oilers Injury Update: Taylor Hall skates with team

By on 11/13/2014 02:28:00 PM

A sign of encouragement was spotted at Edmonton Oilers practice today. Forward Taylor Hall was present and on the ice for the team's skate around Thursday morning, according to The Score.

Hall, 22, has been out since November 1st when he crashed into a goal post in a 3-2 loss to the Vancouver Canucks. Hall was seen wearing a knee brace but reiterated after the session that he would not rush back and risk further injury. In the 11 games in which Hall participated this season, he tallied 10 points including six goals which is still good for third on the team behind Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Jordan Eberle (11 points each) despite missing the Oilers last five games.

Hall was the first overall pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by Edmonton. He played his junior hockey with the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League where in just 44 games he racked up 76 points with 35 goals.
