Packers Injury Update: Aaron Rodgers 'does everything' Monday

By on 11/04/2014 09:46:00 AM

Coach Mike McCarthy announced this week that Aaron Rodgers was a full participant in practice for the Green Bay Packers.  This was the first on-field activity Rodgers had been through since he strained his hamstring against the New Orleans Saints on October 26th.  Rob Demovsky also reports that the practice wasn't full-speed and was more like an off-season workout with drills and strength and conditioning work.

Rodgers is known for his accurate passing and his elusiveness in the pocket which has helped buy him time to throw this season.  The Packers offensive line has struggled with injuries early in 2014 but this past week's bye on the schedule has bought Rodgers' and the rest of the offense more time to recover from injuries.  Rodgers will lead the Packers against the Chicago Bears in Sunday night's prime-time game.  The divisional match-up will be pivotal for the Packers to keep pace with the Detroit Lions whom currently lead the NFC North by one game.
