Panthers Injury Report: Mike Tolbert, Charles Johnson, Star Lotulelei

By on 11/30/2014 10:32:00 AM

The 3-7-1 Panthers face the Minnesota Vikings today, as they fight for a playoff spot in the NFC South. They'll do this with RB/FB Mike Tolbert (knee) potentially returning, albeit without star defensive tackle Star Lotulelei (ankle) and maybe fellow lineman Charles Johnson (illness)

RB/FB Mike Tolbert practiced in full all week and is set to return to the field this week after being placed on injured reserve/designated to return in Week 3. He is listed as probable.

DE Charles Johnson missed practice all week with upper respiratory flu and is listed as questionable. Ron Rivera is hopeful he'll play.

Fellow lineman DT Star Lotulelei has been ruled out for the third week straight with an ankle injury, and did not practice during this week.

On the other side of the ball, rookie guard Amini Silatolu is also out with a knee injury after suffering a setback after Wednesday's practice.

The Panthers injury report is rounded out by DB Bene Benwikere (ankle), WR Philly Brown (illness), and Andrew Norwell (thigh), all of which are listed as probable for today's game.
