Panthers Injury Report: Philly Brown, Dwan Edwards, Bene Benwikere

By on 11/09/2014 10:30:00 AM

For a team that entered the year with a whole lot of promise, the Carolina Panthers have quickly become a disappointment. The Panthers are currently 3 – 5 – 1 and have lost three straight games. To make matters worse, they now have the daunting task of taking down one of the hottest teams in the NFL, the Philadelphia Eagles:

Considering this is the NFL and guys can easily be lost to injury, the Panthers’ final Week 10 Injury Report is nothing to complain about. The Panthers have only two players that will not be playing tomorrow: CB Bene Benwikere (ankle) and G Trai Turner (ankle). Both Bene and Trai were DNPs all week, so it’s really not much of a surprise that they won’t t be ready come game time.

WR Philly Brown (concussion) is considered probable after taking part in full practice all week.

As for DT Dwan Edwards (knee) and DT Kawann Short (ankle), both players were limited earlier in the week but by Friday were no longer restricted and were playing at full boar. I would say that’s a great sign entering the weekend My guess is both suit up and play tomorrow. Realistically with a team as strong as the Eagles, the Panthers are going to need everyone and everything operating at full cylinder.

Tomorrow's game begins at 8:30 PM EST and can be seen on ESPN and heard on Sirius XM Radio.
