Penguins Injury Update: Marcel Goc leaves game

By on 11/29/2014 09:05:00 PM

The Pittsburgh Penguins are going through an injury streak. One of their recent players to go down was 4th liner Marcel Goc, who missed two periods during Friday night's game against the Carolina Hurricanes.

A shot hit Goc in the foot during the first period. He left the ice and did not return to the game. Goc only played 3:05 last night.

He also did not travel with the team to Carolina where they face the Hurricanes for the second night in a row.

The good news is, it does not appear that Goc has a broken foot. It appears he only has a bruised foot.
So far this season he has only 1 goal in 22 games.
