Predators Injury Update: Mike Fisher activated from injured reserve

By on 11/28/2014 11:28:00 AM

Nashville Predators center Mike Fisher has been activated from injured reserve and is expected to the lineup Thursday night against the Edmonton Oilers.

The announcement that Fisher was back on the lineup came after Fisher skated with Derek Roy and Olli Jokinen in a line at the morning skate, as per CBC. Fisher ruptured his Achilles tendon in training this summer and had surgery on July 3rd. But by the time the Predators reported for training camp, he was already out of a walking boot.

Despite having no points so far this season, Fisher was Nashville's alternate captain last season, with 20 goals and 29 assists in 75 games. He has 226 goals and 255 assists in 887 career regular-season games.
