Predators Injury Update: Viktor Stalberg out 4-6 weeks after knee-on-knee collision

By on 11/11/2014 12:57:00 PM

What was supposed to be a quick rehab stop in Milwaukee resulted in a perilous outcome as Viktor Stalberg is now out four to six weeks with a knee injury.

Mike Halford from ProHockey Talk reported that the injury occurred during a collision with defenseman Brennan Evans on Friday night. It was also reported that Evans was suspended four games for the hit. Stalberg could not put any weight on his knee as he left the ice. The bad luck continues for him as this was his fourth (and final) game in Milwaukee and he was set to return to Nashville with the team after this game. He has had an injury-marred beginning of the season with Nashville, only playing in five of the first 14 games. The team expects to evaluate him in the next few days and make a more specific diagnosis.

Nashville’s next game is Tuesday against the Edmonton Oilers.
