Raptors Injury Update: DeMar DeRozan remains 'questionable' for Sunday's game vs. the Lakers

The Toronto Raptors head into Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers coming off a 106-102 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Friday. Kyle Lowry lead the Raptors with 25 points and seven rebounds. At 13-3, the Raptors sit on top in the Atlantic Division. On the injury front, DeMar DeRozan left the game with a groin injury and is questionable for Sunday's game. 

According to,
Jesus Gomez of SBNation added that DeRozan had to leave Friday's game with a groin strain that occurred when he was driving to the basket against Dirk Nowitzki. DeRozan did not return to the game and it's uncertain how much time he'll miss.

If DeRozan misses any time, expect Louis Williams to see more minutes at shooting guard. Williams had 16 points in 30 minutes off the bench against the Mavericks.

DeRozan, in his sixth NBA season, is averaging 19.4 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. He's coming off his best season in 2013-2014 when he averaged 22.7 points , 4.3 rebounds and four assists per game. DeRozan has career averages of 16.8 points and 3.7 rebounds in 399 games.
