Rockets Injury Update: Tarik Black won't play against the 76ers

The Houston Rockets enter Monday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers with a record of 3-0, tied for first in the Southwest Division. Off to a strong start, the Rockets are 7th in the NBA in scoring and 4th in points allowed. The Rockets will be without center Tarik Black tonight due to a thigh injury.

According to the official Twitter feed of the Houston Rockets,
With Black out, it's possible that rookie center Clint Capela could make his NBA regular season debut. Capela averaged 9.8 points and 6.9 rebounds in 42 games for Chalon-Sur-Saone of the International League last season.

Black, a 22-year old rookie out of Kansas, is averaging two points on just 28.6 percent shooting from the floor and two rebounds in 14.7 minutes per game. He averaged  5.5 points and 3.9 rebounds in 13.5 minutes per game last season. In four collegiate seasons with Memphis and Kansas, Black averaged 8.4 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
