Rockets Injury Update: Terrence Jones could miss another month

The Houston Rockets head into tonight's game against the Los Angeles Lakers coming off a 119-93 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday. The Rockets were lead by Trevor Ariza, who had 16 points in 32 minuts. Even with the loss, the Rockets sit 9-2 on the season, second in the Southwest Division. The Rockets continue to play without Terrence Jones, who reportedly could miss another month with a leg injury.

Our own Emily Gruver reported on November 8 that Jones would be out at least another week with a leg contusion.

An update on Jones, according to the official Twitter account of,
With Jones out of the lineup, expect Kostas Papanikolaou, who had eight points, five assists and four rebounds in 24 minutes against the Grizzlies, to see additional minutes at power forward.

Jones, in his third NBA season, is averaging 14 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.8 blocked shots in four games this season. Last year, he averaged 12.1 points and 6.9 rebounds in 71 games. Jones has career averages of 10.9 points on 53.2 percent shooting from the floor and 6.3 rebounds per game.
