Sabres Injury Update: Josh Gorges leaves game with lower-body injury

Buffalo Sabres defenseman Josh Gorges left Tuesday night's game against the St. Louis Blues early in the second period with a lower-body injury.






Gorges sustained his lower-body injury after he collided with Blues center Joakim Lindstrom going into the boards behind the Buffalo net. The Sabres released a small statement on Twitter Tuesday night, with Coach Ted Nolan saying "it's not good" in regards to Gorges injury. Nolan also said that Gorges will definitely miss Thursday night's game and perhaps several more.

The Buffalo Sabres had a six to one loss against the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday, falling 3-12-2 with their third straight regulation loss. Gorges has one point (one assist) so far this season.
