Sabres Injury Update: Michal Neuvirth leaves game with lower-body injury

By on 11/19/2014 08:00:00 PM

Buffalo Sabres do not have a lot of good going on lately. With poor points for the start of the season, near the bottom of the rankings and with injuries they cannot seem to catch a break. A new injury occurred to goaltender Michal Neuvirth.

Neuvirth suffered a lower body injury during the first period on Tuesday night against the Washington Capitals. He was then replaced by Jhonas Enroth at the start of the second period.

Nobody is sure on the extent of the injury, or when it exactly occurred but there are rumors that it was near the end of the first period during the waived off goal by Justin Braun.

No update has officially been reported. He is expected to be evaluated by the team's doctors on Thursday morning.

It has been rumored that the injury is longer than day-to-day.
