Saints Injury Report: Robert Meachem, Mark Ingram, Pierre Thomas

By on 11/24/2014 11:30:00 AM

The 4-6 New Orleans Saints look to take possession of first place in the disappointing NFC South tonight when they play host to the Baltimore Ravens. The Saints backfield has been hobbled all year and the Saints have four RB's on the injury report for the week, including Mark Ingram and Pierre Thomas. WR Robert Meachem is also on the injury report and is listed as questionable heading into the Monday Night Football match up.

Meachem has been dealing with an ankle injury and has not played since October 30th. With the loss of rookie WR Brandin Cooks, Meachem's return would be a boost to the wide receiver core that Drew Brees spreads the ball to. He is listed as questionable after being limited in practice all week according to the Saints official injury report and his availability likely won't be known until just prior to game time.

RB's Mark Ingram (shoulder) and Pierre Thomas (rib/shoulder) are both listed as probable. Ingram was a full participant in practice all week, while Thomas was limited all week as he looks to return to action for the first time since October 19th. Fellow RB Travaris Cadet (hamstring) is also probable, while RB Khiry Robinson (forearm) has been ruled out.

ILB Kyle Knox (hand) is the only other Saint ruled out. Rounding out the injury report are CB Keenan Lewis (knee), ILB Curtis Lofton (ankle) and T Zach Strief (chest) who are all listed as probable.
