Seahawks Injury Report: Marshawn Lynch, Bobby Wagner, Max Unger

By on 11/22/2014 01:36:00 PM

The Seattle Seahawks are preparing for what just might be the biggest game of the season thus far. A must-win game against the division rival Arizona Cardinals who currently lead the division by three games. Fortunately, the Seahawks do have a few injured players returning.

First, the outs, according to the team website. Cornerback Marcus Burley, center Max Unger and linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis are all out and did not practice all week. Burley had limited practice on Friday, but is still out with a hamstring issue. The starter instead of Unger will either be fourth string Patrick Lewis or newly resigned offensive lineman Lemuel Jeanpierre.

Defensive end Demarcus Dobbs is doubtful with a knee injury. He did not practice on Wednesday or Friday and was limited Thursday.

Questionable for Sunday is guard James Carpenter with an ankle injury. He did not practice on Friday, had a full practice on Thursday, and was limited on Wednesday. Jeanpierre could also play for Carpenter if that ends up being the best choice for the Seahawks.

Probable for the game are defensive end Michael Bennett (not injury related), linebacker Brock Coyle (glute), running back Marshawn Lynch (back), cornerback Byron Maxwell (calf), guard J.R. Sweezy (thigh) and linebacker Bobby Wagner who should be returning from turf toe. Wagner had full practices Thursday and Friday after being limited on Wednesday.
