Senators Injury Update: Curtis Lazar out with a minor injury

By on 11/21/2014 11:14:00 AM

Curtis Lazar of the Ottawa Senators is out with a "minor" injury, but shouldn't be out for long.

According to the Ottawa Sun, the rookie center sustained an undisclosed minor injury but coach Paul MacLean said, "He's not going to be available but that's just for precautionary reasons. He has a minor (injury) that we don't want to grow into something bigger so we're going to be cautious with him."

The Senators have made lineup changes since Lazar's injury with Mika Zibanejad taking Lazar's place, playing between Mike Hoffman and Mark Stone. Another big lineup change was putting Zack Smith back at center, who hasn't been producing at right wing.

Lazar has six points (six assists) so far this season.
