Steelers Injury Report: Troy Polamalu, Ryan Shazier, Maurkice Pouncey

By on 11/09/2014 10:00:00 AM

For the past two weeks now the Pittsburgh Steelers have been playing some of the most exciting football the league has to offer and their QB isn’t disappointing either. Roethlisberger has a ridiculous 12 touchdowns and combined 862 passing yards over the last two games. With a 6 – 3 record and the Browns on their tail, you can be sure that the Steelers and Big Ben are going to bring the heat once again:

The Pittsburgh Steelers final Week 10 Injury Report has plenty for fans to be optimistic about. Of the 12 players on the IR, seven are deemed probable and should play against the Jets, while the remaining five will have to watch from the sidelines.

The seven probable players include DE Cameron Heyward (NIR), WR Darrius Heyward-Bey (hamstring), DE Brett Keisel (NIR), TE Heath Miller (NIR), S Mike Mitchell (NIR), C Maurkice Pouncey (NIR) and lastly LB Jason Worilds (abdomen). Heyward-Bey was the only player unable to participate in full practice on Friday.

Now for the bad news, the players that won’t see the field tomorrow: LB Ryan Shazier (ankle), CB Ike Taylor (forearm), S Shamarko Thomas (hamstring), S Ross Ventrone (hamstring) and everyone’s favorite dandruff expert S Troy Polamalu (knee), aka Mr. Shampoo.

Do the Jets even stand a chance? Will Big Ben continue his torrid pace? Only time will tell.

Tomorrow’s game will be played at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey at 1:00 PM EST on CBS and Sirius XM Radio.
