Texans Injury Report: Arian Foster, Jadeveon Clowney, Brian Cushing

By on 11/22/2014 05:00:00 PM

The 5-5 Houston Texans, who are just one game back of the AFC South leading Indianapolis Colts, head up to Cincinnati to take up on the 6-3-1, AFC North leading, Cincinnati Bengals at one o'clock on Sunday. The Texans were without star running back Arian Foster for their Week 11 contest and his status is still up in the air for clash with the Bengals.

Arian Foster, who did not practice on Friday and is listed as questionable according to the Houston Texans game status report, is still not close to 100% after injuring his groin in Week 9. Foster had to leave that game and slammed his helmet to the turf in frustration. Alfred Blue would be the go to back if Foster is not available. Fantasy owners should check for Foster's official status on Sunday prior to kickoff.

ILB Brian Cushing returned to the Texans lineup in Week 11 and forced a fumble but was limited in practice on Friday as he continues to nurse a sore knee. He is listed as probable for Sunday's contest, as is OLB Jadeveon Clowney. Clowney is also trying to get to 100% after having knee surgery following week one. He was able to play in Week 11, but made a minimal impact.

CB Kareem Jackson (knee) is the only Texan listed as out, with LB Max Bullough (hamstring) joining Foster as questionable. The Texans have several players listed as probable, most notably WR Andre Johnson (not injury related), QB Ryan Mallett (chest) and CB Johnathan Joseph (knee).
