Trail Blazers Injury Update: Nicolas Batum will miss Tuesday's game

The Portland Trail Blazers improved to 4-3 on the season with a 116-100 win over the Denver Nuggets on Sunday. LaMarcus Aldridge lead the Trail Blazers with 28 points and nine rebounds. The Trail Blazers enter tonight's game against the Charlotte Hornets in first place in the Northwest Division. On the injury front, the Trail Blazers will be without starting small forward Nicolas Batum due to knee contusion.

Erik Gundersen of The Columbian's Blazers Blog, tweeted the following on Batum's status.
With Batum out of the lineup, expect additional minutes out of Thomas Robinson and perhaps Dorell Wright and C.J. McCollum. .

Batum, in his seventh NBA season, is averaging nine points, 7.7 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game this season. Last season he played in all 82 games and averaged 13 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game. In 417 career games, all with the Trail Blazers, Batum is averaging 11.5 points and five rebounds per game.
