The Golden State Warriors head into Friday's game coming off a 136-115 blowout win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday. The Warriors are 8-2 on the season and sit in first place in the Pacific Division. They have played all but the first quarter of the first game without David Lee due to a hamstring injury. The good news is that Lee is expected to return next week.

Our own Tim Hanrahan reported on November 7 that Lee, who missed the season's first three games due to a hamstring injury, had an MRI which confirmed the re-aggravation of the injury and would likely keep him out of the lineup for two weeks.

The official Twitter account of, tweeted the following update on Lee.
Draymond Green and Marresse Speights have seen the bulk of the action at power forward in Lee's absence. Green is averaging 12.9 points and 7.2 rebounds per game, while Speights is averaging 9.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.

Lee, in his 10th NBA season, scored six points on 3-of-4 shooting in seven minutes of action. Last season, he averaged 18.2 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. Lee has played for the Knicks and Warriors and has career averages of 15.2 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists, in 647 games.
