Warriors Injury Update: Klay Thompson 100% certain he'll be back Tuesday

The Golden State Warriors dropped their first game of the season on Friday to the Phoenix Suns by the score of 107-95. At 5-1, the Warriors are half a game ahead of the Sacramento Kings in the Pacific Division. Stephen Curry lead the Warriors with 28 points and 10 assists in the losing effort. The Warriors were without guard Klay Thompson, who is certain he'll return Tuesday against the San Antonio Spurs.

Leandro Barbosa  started for Thompson, who was listed as day-to-day with a hand injury.  Barbosa had 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting in 31 minutes of action.

Diamond Leung, who covers the Warriors for Bay Area News Group, tweeted the following update on Thompson.
Thompson, in his fourth NBA season out of Washington State, is averaging 23.8 points on 47 percent shooting from the floor and 40.6 percent from three-point range. In 234 career games, all with the Warriors, Thompson is averaging 16.2 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.
