Warriors Injury Update: MRI confirms David Lee's hamstring injury, to miss at least two weeks

Warriors power forward David Lee underwent an MRI on Thursday for a strained left hamstring and the results confirmed the re-aggravation of the injury during his seven minute stint in Wednesday's game versus the Los Angeles Clippers. Lee will be re-evaluated in two weeks, reports Bay Area News Group's Diamond Leung.

Lee had previously missed the season's first 3 games because of the hamstring injury with Wednesday being his first action for the undefeated Warriors. He came off the bench and scored six points before leaving early in the second quarter.

The Warriors look ahead to a showdown of undefeated teams in Houston Saturday night, playing again in Phoenix on Sunday before beginning a 3-game homestand versus the champion Spurs, Nets, and Hornets. Third-year forward Draymond Green, coming off a career high 24 points against the Clippers, is expected to continue to start in Lee's place.
