Wild Injury Update: Parise shines in return

By on 11/17/2014 10:08:00 AM

Minnesota Wild forward and leading scorer Zach Parise returned to the lineup last night and made an immediate impact. As reported by ProHockeyTalk, Parise returned from a concussion sustained in early November and found the back of the net twice last night.

Just four minutes and eleven seconds into Zach Parise's return to the ice, he was able to bury home a goal on an assist from linemate Mikko Koivu. Parise added his second of the night towards the end of the first period which put the Wild up 3-0 on their way to a 4-3 overtime victory over the Winnipeg Jets.

Minnesota is hoping to keep their red-hot momentum going now that Parise is back. The Wild have won three straight games as they head out on a three game road-trip beginning Thursday night in Philadelphia.
