Parise, a native of Minneapolis, suffered the concussion during the Wild's 4-1 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday night in St. Paul. He was hit from behind by Penguins defenseman Robert Bortuzzo and cross-checked at the same time by forward Blake Comeau.
Parise is in his tenth NHL season and his third with the Wild. He has played in 628 career games with New Jersey and Minnesota and has 410 career points. He leads the Wild this season with 10 points in 11 games, including four goals.
