Bears Injury Report: Martellus Bennett, Alshon Jeffery, Tim Jennings

By on 12/03/2014 12:30:00 PM

The Chicago Bears will play a second consecutive Thursday game in Week 14, as they welcome the Dallas Cowboys to Soldier Field. Here's a look at Chicago's injuries ahead of an official injury report later on Wednesday.

Tight end Martellus Bennett (foot) practiced fully on Tuesday after being limited on Monday. There does not seem to be any concern about his ability to play Thursday night, so he can be in fantasy lineups barring something unforeseen.

Wide receiver Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) did not practice on Tuesday after being limited Monday. Bears head coach Marc Trestman called the move to hold Jeffery out of practice "precautionary", but the downgrade in his participation seems to have him headed for a questionable designation.

Cornerback Tim Jennings (groin), offensive lineman Kyle Long (calf) and defensive end Trevor Scott (knee) were full participants in Tuesday's practice. All three look likely to be listed as probable, and should suit up against Dallas.

Safety Chris Conte (eye) was limited on Tuesday after sitting out on Monday, which has to be considered good news for his chances to play Thursday night. Linebacker Darryl Sharpton (hamstring) and defensive tackle Jeremiah Ratliff (kne) were both limited on Monday and Tuesday.

Along with Jeffery, kicker Robbie Gould (right quadricep), defensive end Cornelius Washington (chest) and wide receiver Chris Williams (hamstring) also missed Tuesday's practice. Gould's injury is worth watching, since it is to his kicking leg and the issue may serve to limit his field goal range on Thursday night.
