Blackhawks Injury Update: Corey Crawford out 2-3 weeks with foot injury

Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford will be out 2-3 weeks after sustaining a foot injury ar a concert.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Crawford said he sustained the injury after leaving a recent concert. “I was at a concert the other day and was on the way out and missed a step and I didn't think it was that bad,” Crawford said. “I woke up the next day and it was worse than I thought."

Crawford would not give any more details as to whether or not alcohol was involved during his fall, but he will be sidelined while Antti Raanta will be taking his place against the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday night at the United Center. Scott Darling, who was recalled from Rockford of the AHL will serve as Raanta's backup.

Crawford has 442 saves and a .929 save percentage so far this season.
