Blue Jackets Injury Update: Dubinsky made his season debut on Tuesday

Columbus Blue Jackets center Brandon Dubinsky made his season debut on Tuesday night against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Blue Jackets coach Todd Richards announced Monday that Dubinsky would return to the line-up when the Jackets would be hosting the Flyers at Nationwide, as per a tweet made by the Blue Jackets twitter account. This was Dubinsky's first game of the season, after the alternative captain underwent abdominal surgery, according to Pro Hockey Talk. Dubinsky racked up 16 goals and 50 points in 76 games while averaging nearly 19 minutes a game last year, making him the most valuable player on the Blue Jackets' roster.

On Tuesday night, Dubinsky player over 20 minutes, including over two on both the power play and the penalty kill. He also added an assist in the game, giving him his first point of the season.
