Letestu has suffered abdominal and groin injuries. He underwent surgery today in Philadelphia to repair the damage. He is expected to miss about 6 weeks in order to recover from the surgery.
Letestu only played 9 games so far this season before being sidelined due to these injuries in late- October. So far this season he has 3 goals and 2 assists.
Prior to the surgery this morning Letestu was skating for the past couple of days with his teammates at optional skate.

When he was not getting better, the team decided it would be best for him to undergo the surgery so he could have a full recovery.
