According to Pro Hockey Talk, both Chara and Krejci were back at practice on Tuesday. Chara, who hasn't played since October 23rd after a PCL tear in his left knee after colliding with Islanders forward John Tavares, has given coach Claude Julien optimism about playing Thursday night's game, but is less sure about Krejci returning to play, as per two tweets made by CSN New England's Joe Haggerty.
Krejci hasn't played since November 18th, when he was placed on IR after sustaining a hip ailment during the pre-season. Without the Bruins two key players on the ice, the team have been struggling of late, with just two wins in their last seven. Chara returning Thursday would mean that the Bruins have gone 11-7-1 without their most important player in the line-up.
Krejci has 10 points (three goals, seven assists) and Chara has three points (two goals, one assist) so far this season.
