Canadiens Injury Update: Lars Eller out 1-2 weeks

By on 12/11/2014 09:31:00 AM

The Montreal Canadiens will be without their center Lars Eller for possibly up to two weeks due to an upper-body injury.

According to TSN, Eller has missed Montreal's last two games and hasn't played since last Friday in Chicago. Eller went for an MRI to examine his shoulder on Monday, but the results weren't too severe, as the Montreal Canadiens announced that Eller would only be out for up to two weeks, as per Habs Eyes On The Prize. Eller sustained his shoulder injury while facing the Chicago Blackhawks, which appeared to be a aggravation of a previously-suffered ailment.

Eller has 11 points (seven goals, four assists) so far this season.
