Cardinals Injury Report: Larry Fitzgerald, Antonio Cromartie, Drew Stanton

By on 12/10/2014 04:20:00 PM

The Arizona Cardinals have faced injuries all season long, and they have not stopped yet. So in this week's edition of Cardinals injuries, Larry Fitzgerald, Antonio Cromartie and Drew Stanton are the patients.

Fitzgerald has been hampered by a knee injury for a few weeks now. He missed a few weeks before returning last week vs. Kansas City where he had four catches for 34 yards. The Cardinals have Fitzgerald listed as probable as he was a full participant in practice on Wednesday.

Antonio Cromartie was injured in last week's game vs. the Chiefs. He got involved in a play trying to make a tackle and it appeared he had his ankle rolled on. Cromartie was carted off the field, which made it appear as a serious injury, but it is not believed to be serious. The Cardinals have him listed as questionable with an ankle injury.

The Cardinals QB Drew Stanton has had his moments this season -- good and bad. The bad mostly being injuries. Stanton is listed as probable for the game with an ankle and knee injury.

Arizona's offensive line will absoutely need to step up their play if they want Stanton to survive the tremendous St. Louis Rams pass rush Thursday night.

Another notable player on the injury report is Tyrann Mathieu, who is dealing with a broken thumb. Mathieu has already been ruled out for this game.

If the Cardinals come out of the game against the Rams without an injury, count the game as win for the Cardinals. Well, maybe not a win, because the Cardinals need to win this game very much, but it would be quite the feat if they were able to come out of the game without any injuries.
