Michael Walace, who covers the Heat for ESPN.com, tweeted the following on Deng's injury.
Luol Deng suffers right hand injury, status unclear as Heat prepare for 5-game road trip http://t.co/X04eshAhEY via @espnnbaWallace added that Deng was injured when he landed on his right hand as he fell to the floor when trying to draw a charge in the second quarter. Deng was limited to 17 minutes and did not play in the second half. The good news is that X-rays taken post game were negative.

The injury, which has been diagnosed as a bone bruise, will be further evaluated today. Should Deng be unable to play, expect James Ennis, Danny Granger and Shawne Williams to see additional minutes on the court.
Deng, in his 11th NBA season out of Duke, is averaging 13.6 points and 4.7 rebounds per game this season. The veteran has played for the Bulls and Heat and has career averages of 16 points and 6.3 rebounds in 694 games.
