Jaguars Injury Update: Austin Pasztor out for season

By on 12/03/2014 10:08:00 PM

The Jacksonville Jaguars learned recently that starting right tackle Austin Pasztor may miss the rest of the season. He suffered a ruptured hamstring in last Sunday's victory of the New York Giants and did not return to the game after the injury. Pasztor, a second-year veteran, has been a key starter for the Jaguars offensive line over the past two years.

Pasztor had also recovered from a fractured hand earlier in the season prior to this injury, but the severity of a hamstring rupture will likely sideline him for several months. It remains to be seen if he'll undergo surgical reconstruction versus a more conservative rehabilitation approach. Coach Gus Bradley will likely patch together the offensive line with either Josh Wells or Sam Young per reports.
