Denard Robinson, Jacksonville's leading rusher this season, is out for the year with a foot sprain he suffered against the Houston Texans on Sunday. Robinson's mid-foot sprain is expected to take six to eight weeks to heal. With Denard Robinson out, Toby Gerhart is expected to split carries with Storm Johnson and Jordan Todman.
Denard Robinson was the only fantasy relevant player in the Jacksonville backfield; even with Robinson's injury, no other running back on the Jaguars is worth owning in a standard 10 team league. The second year player out of Michigan was leading the team with 582 rushing yards. In addition, the former college quarterback had more touchdowns (four) than the other Jaguars running backs combined, despite not starting a game until week 7.
