Komarov sustained a head injury during the Leafs' game against the Washington Capitals on Saturday after he was clipped on the head by left-winger Alex Ovechkin when he wasn't looking. Komarov missed his first game of the season Tuesday as a precautionary measure, but according to National Post and The Hockey News columnist Michael Traikos's tweet, coach Randy Carlyle has confirmed that Komarov will not play tonight's game.
Komarov has 16 points (4 goals, 12 assists) so far this season.
