The Orlando Magic head into tonight's game against the Atlanta Hawks with a record of 9-16, fourth in the Southeast Division. The Magic have struggled, particularly on the offensive end, are 26th in the NBA in scoring. Help should be on the way tonight, as center Nikola Vucevic will be back in the starting lineup after missing time with a back injury.

I reported on December 9 that Vucevic, who had missed the previous four games with a back injury, was improving but still not ready for game action.

Josh Robbins, who covers the Magic for the Orlando Sentinel, tweeted the following on Vucevic's status. added that head coach Jacque Vaughn isn't sure how many minutes Vucevic will play tonight. Vaughn also noted that Kyle O'Quinn, who started in place of Vucevic, should continue see a lot of minutes, occasionally on the court with Vucevic simultaneously.

Vucevic, in his fourth NBA season, is averaging 18.6 points, 11.7 rebounds and 1.1 blocked shots per game this season. Vucevic, who has played for the 76ers and Magic, has become one of the better centers in the league. He has career averages of 12 points and 9.9 rebounds in 204 games.
