I reported on December 9 that Vucevic, who had missed the previous four games with a back injury, was improving but still not ready for game action.
Josh Robbins, who covers the Magic for the Orlando Sentinel, tweeted the following on Vucevic's status.
Nik Vucevic will play for the Magic tonight and return after missing 6 games due to a back injury.Rotoworld.com added that head coach Jacque Vaughn isn't sure how many minutes Vucevic will play tonight. Vaughn also noted that Kyle O'Quinn, who started in place of Vucevic, should continue see a lot of minutes, occasionally on the court with Vucevic simultaneously.
