Mark Followill, tv play-by-play announcer for the Mavericks, tweeted the following on Parsons' status prior to the game.
Rotoworld.com noted that Parsons should be consider day-to-day. The injury is a blow to the Mavericks, as Parsons has been playing much better of late after a sluggish start to the season. With Parsons out, expect Jae Crowder and Al-Farouq Aminu to see additional minutes.

Parsons, in his fourth NBA season out of Florida, is averaging 16.3 points and five assists in 33.6 minutes per game this season. Parsons averaged a career-high 16.6 points per game last season with the Rockets and has career averages of 14.3 points and 5.2 rebounds in 237 games.
