Oilers Injury Update: Pouliot, Hendricks, and Nikitin miss Sunday night's game

Edmonton Oilers left-winger Benoit Pouliot, center Matt Hendricks, and defenseman Nikita Nikitin missed Sunday night's game against the San Jose Sharks due to injuries.

Pouliot is out indefinitely with a broken foot, and injury he sustained during the November 21st game against the New Jersey Devils.

Hendricks sustained a leg injury during a game against the Nashville Predators on November 27th after blocking Predator defenseman Shea Weber's shot from just a few away in the right faceoff circle at 2:12 of the first period, as per Lillooet News.

Nikitin left a game against the Winnipeg Jets on December 3rd. According to Rotoworld, Nikitin suffered a back-injury (undisclosed) and was healthy enough to take to the ice quite yet.

There is no news as to when Pouliot, Hendricks, and Nikitin will return to the ice.

Nikitin has five points (two goals, three assists), Hendricks has five points (two goals, three assists), and Pouliot has eight points (three goals, five assists) so far this season.
