Packers Injury Update: Eddie Lacy's injury isn't concerning

By on 12/10/2014 11:30:00 AM

The Green Bay Packers were without starting running back Eddie Lacy at the end of the game against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football after he suffered an injury to his hip. The Packers turned to backup James Starks to help ice the game and seal their 10th victory on the year, while Lacy watched on the sidelines.

This was concerning as it was clear Lacy was not healthy enough to play, but head coach Mike McCarthy does not seem worried.

Hopefully Lacy being unable to play was more of a precautionary move for the Packers and that they simply didn't want to risk Lacy injuring himself further. We won't know more until we see if Lacy is able to practice this week or not, so continue to check back for updates.

If Lacy is able to suit up, he will be a top-10 fantasy play against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Either way, fantasy players with Lacy on their team should already have Starks on their roster, but if not, add him immediately as will be a top-15 option at running back if Lacy is forced to miss this week's game.
