By on 12/04/2014 02:22:00 PM

Left-winger Scottie Upshall and center Aleksander Barkov of the Florida Panthers missed the teams morning skate on Thursday.

Upshall sustained an ankle injury (undisclosed) on November 20th, was seen wearing a walking boot on November 25th, and was placed on injured reserve on November 27th. However, according to a tweet from George Richards of the Miami Herald, Upshall will resume skating on Friday, as per Rotowire. Barkov missed Tuesday's game after sustaining a hand injury. Barkov blocked a shot in Wednesday night's loss to Columbus, and as a result has a swollen hand, according to Fantasy SP. It has not been said when Barkov will return to the Panthers.

Upshall has 7 points (3 goals, 4 assists) and Barkov has 4 points (2 goals, 2 assists) so far this season.
