Babbitt, who has played in 15 games (out of 19 possible), did not return to the game on Sunday after leaving near the end of the 4th quarter, with the game well in hand. According R.J. White of CBS Sports, Babbitt was diagnosed with a sprained knee, however, there was no word on the exact severity of the sprain. So far, Babbitt's availability for Tuesday's game against the Knicks remains unclear.

At 9-10 the Pelicans sit at fifth place in the Southeast Division, and are 10th in the Western Conference. On the year, Babbitt is averaging 3.5 points and two rebounds per game.
