By on 12/03/2014 02:11:00 PM

Pittsburgh Penguins left-winger Chris Kunitz will be out for a couple of weeks with a fractured foot.

Kunitz has been diagnosed with a light fracture in his foot (undisclosed) and is likely to miss a couple of weeks, as per Rotowire. Defenceman Kris Letang will also be missing a couple of weeks due to being put in injured reserve. Letang sustained a groin injury when he was hurt late in Friday night's loss to the Carolina Hurricanes. Coach Mike Johnson said Kunitz doesn't look too bad after his MRI and should be back in a few weeks, and said that Letang is day-to-day.

Kunitz has 20 points (nine goals, 11 assists) and Letang has 18 points (four goals and 14 assists) so far this season.
