Redskins Injury Update: DeSean Jackson's injury minor

By on 12/02/2014 02:25:00 PM

The Washington Redskins traveled to Indianapolis on Sunday to take on the Colts. During the game-play Wide Receiver DeSean Jackson had suffered a lower leg injury on the sidelines due to an accidental hit. Jackson was helped off the field and remained on the sideline as he was examined by trainers. His return to the game was questionable.

However Jackson did later return to the game only to in fact re-aggravate his already potentially injured lower leg. DeSean had to then be carted off of the field and taken to the locker room where he was first ruled questionable in returning to the game, but then later ruled OUT for the rest of the contest. Reports have shown the Jackson's injury is minor and he will be limited in practice this week. DeSean Jackson should be expected to see action this Sunday in the Week 14 match-up when the Redskins host the St. Louis Rams.
