I reported on November 19 that Jones, who had been dealing with a leg contusion, would miss another month of action. Now it appears that estimate was conservative.
Jonathan Feigen, who covers the Rockets for the Houston Chronicle, tweeted the following on Jones' status.
Better, but not close. Out indefinitely. RT @legsanity: @Jonathan_Feigen how about Jones?Rotoworld.com added that Jones is improving with his nerve issue but at one point he had no feeling in his leg and toes, indicating the severity of the condition. There is still no timetable for his return, so expect Donatas Motiejunas to continue to see a large load of minutes at power forward.
